House Calls
House calls are available if scheduling permits. There will be an additional $30 charge for time and travel costs.
*Naturopathic and classical Chinese medicine works cumulatively on and with the body, therefore we ask that you complete a full course of treatment. A timeline with therapeutic expectations will be discussed during your initial consultation.

New Patient Visits:
To save time, new patients may download and complete the new patient forms from the Forms section of this website. Please bring the forms with you to your initial visit. If you choose to not fill them out ahead of time, please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to fill them out in the office prior to the initial consultation.

How to prepare for your visit:
Please try to wear clothes that fit loosely and that can be pushed easily past your knees and elbows if possible. A gown will be provided when necessary. Please try not to arrive on an empty “hungry” stomach as this will be a distraction to the treatment – it will be harder for your “shen” to settle. Also, please try to avoid coffee and highly caffeinated beverages as this will impair your normal pulse quality during pulse diagnosis.

Office Policies:
Please be aware that payment is expected at the time of service.
The office does not bill insurance companies directly. We will provide the necessary form for you to send to your insurance company for reimbursement. At this time in New York, some insurers will reimburse for acupuncture treatment, but not yet for naturopathic care. You are encouraged to contact your carrier to find out if they cover acupuncture or to request acupuncture coverage in New York!

Cash, Personal checks, Discovery, Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
Cancellation Policy: When you make an appointment the time is reserved for you. If you fail to arrive for an appointment a hole is created in our schedule. If a cancellation is absolutely necessary, 24-hour notice must be given or a $30 fee will be charged. Please leave a message on our voice mail if calling during non-business hours. Also, please make your best effort to arrive on time as I cannot extend the treatment into another patient's appointment if you arrive late.

Return Policy: Unopened bottles of nutritional supplements may be returned for a full refund as long as the bottle has not yet expired or will not expire within the next two months. There will be no refunds given for any raw herb or granular prescription, as this is a custom made formula for you. It is very difficult to separate all the herbs after they have been mixed together (and some herbs are crushed, grounded, etc.). Also, once the herbs leave the office, they are considered “contaminated” and can not be used for another patient.
Our staff policy is to be kind, courteous, and to give you the best treatments possible. It is through our satisfied patient's referrals that our practice has grown so well.
