The Stone-Atwater Acupuncture and Natural Healing clinic first opened its doors in June of 2006. The clinic is both the home and office of acupuncturist and naturopathic doctor Toby K. Hallowitz, ND, MSOM, LAc. Toby and his wife Brigitte, their Chow Chow “Nala” and Pixie-Bob cat “Kovu” first moved to Chautauqua County in 2004. After 2 years of practicing in Mayville, they decided to open their clinic in their registered historic home in Westfield. Built in 1812, the Stone-Atwater House, “is significant as a rare example of a vernacular residential structure surviving the earliest settlement period of Westfield.”

The clinic maintains the natural, “rustic” charm of the home. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by Nala and Kovu. Brigitte, who wears the multiple hats of office manager, medicinary manager and receptionist, will serve you green tea and trail mix as you wait in the cozy kitchen for your appointment.
